Amex Member Since

Fifty years ago American Express began embossing the ‘Member Since’ date on their Amex Card. To celebrate this anniversary, Kerve created a Timeline app for their various Facebook pages around the world. The app allowed users to login with their Facebook account and then see a timeline of highlights from their feed interspersed with key American Express dates and major historical events, highlighting just how long people have been relying on American Express around the world.

We devised an algorithm to pick out key posts from each user’s timeline, determining close friends and using likes, comments and photo tags to pick out the best bits. I completed all front end development, and had to get multiple versions of the app up and running in different languages for different markets around the world.
